Here is a hypothetical conversation wherein you may just find answers to those burning questions that you have.

Social Media

q: Is there another website for further information on Jolie Mack Designs?

a: Absolutely. You'll be delighted to see more pictures, read about news and events and see personal photos which have inspired many a design. There's a designer bio, too (in case you're curious.) Visit joliemack.com here.

q: Is there a Jolie Mack Designs Fan Page on Facebook by chance?

a: Glad you asked! Indeed there is and it's a doozy! Keep up to date with what's happening over our way through regularly updated status and wall posts. Fans are privileged with new design sneak peaks, pre-buys and contests. Visit the page with our Facebook feed here!

q: How about a blog?

a: A blog was tried but the Facebook Fan Page does the trick for us.

q: Okay, then....Twitter? You must use Twitter for heaven's sake!

a: Our Twitter status is updated via our Facebook status. But on occasion we will post something exclusive to our Twits. Really, the Facebook Fan page is all we need!


Payment & Shipping

q: What methods of payment do you accept? Is it all secure and stuff?

a: The answer is right below in the pretty picture! Paypal is the way to go these days - it's economical for the online retailer and super safe for the consumer. You can even use debit if you have your account set up for that.

If you do not have a Paypal account, it's super easy and fast to set up. If you plan to frequently shop the internet, we strongly suggest this method of commerce.

q: Tell me about your shipping policies?

a: The Canadian Postal Service is excellent, but their rates are among the highest. Nothing we can do but charge you as close to the real postage without inflating it further by adding handling charges (there is just no room for that!) So, even though the flat rate may seem high, you can be assured that what you are paying is what it really costs to get it to your door.

*In Canada, we choose Expedited Parcel (2-7 business days;) fully insured, tracking available.
*For the U.S, we choose Expedited Parcel-U.S (as quick as 6 business days;) fully insured, tracking available, delivery to P.O Boxes.
*International shipping uses either International-Parcel or International Small Packet (depending on the size of the package;) fully insured.

Shipping can be upgraded at your request for the cost of the additional postage. You may wish to have your item sooner, you may request a signature at delivery, you may want to add more insurance. Visit Canada Post here for more information.

Your items will be securely and safely packed. We like to recycle and so you may receive your item(s) in a wrinkled envelope or labeled box - do not be frightened. It's what's inside that counts! We import much of our materials and so to reduce our carbon footprint, we re-use the suitable packaging.

As much as we hope that the postal services are keeping our packages safe, we will not accept responsibilty for items lost or damaged while enroute.


Returns & Exchanges

The first thing that you should do is give us an email using the contact page or email to [email protected].

q: My Mom doesn't care for the design that I purchased her from this site. Can I return it?

a: Oh geez, that's too bad. Sorry we couldn't please Mom. Good news though, as long as you pack up the item safely and send it back at your expense, we are please to welcome the design home again and refund you. We ask that the item is unworn and still on the original tags.

q: My sister loves the earrings but would rather a different colour. Can I exchange what I bought her?

a: Man, the women in your family are picky! Yes, yes, of course. Same as above; package the item all nice and safe, post it at your expense with a note about what you would like to have it exchanged with.


Cleaning & Repairs

q: Any special advice that will keeping my Jolie Mack Designs jewelery all shiny?

a: Lustre is easily regained by using a soft polishing cloth available at any jeweler's store or right here for $2. Store bought dips can be used as well, but you must be cautious; not all semi-precious gems can be chemically cleaned: pearls, wood, bamboo and any other organic material cannot be "dipped" in cleaner. Please email me directly to ask for cleaning advice if you're unsure.

Here's some good advice:
* put your jewelery on last just before you head out the door.
* give your design a buff with a polishing cloth or rinse with soap and water after wearing.
* place your design back in the provided ziplock bag to prevent exposure to oxidizing air.
* keep your piece in the dark - the gift box, a safe spot in a drawer, or a jewelery box.

q: What if my favorite piece breaks or something. Will you fix it?

a: If you have an original Jolie Mack Design that is in need of repair and/or cleaning, we will do our best to restore the piece. You can mail the piece to us (at senders’ expense) and we will gladly repair or rebuild your design for an appropriate fee. For a quote, send a good quality photo to us and we'll have a look.
